I love the flowers my hubby has given me for Valentine’s Day the last 28 years, I really do. A dozen Red, always red, roses. As many of you know by now, I am drawn to out of the box design ideas. Have dropped hints to change up the flowers to no avail…..BUT, I found this floral idea and just had to pass it on. Maybe he will read this newsletter!

All you need is:
1) Flowers, different blooms in the same color palette
2) Colander
3) A bowl that fits inside the colander
4) Florist foam
Cut the flowers so they are all close in length. After placing the foam inside the bowl, then put the bowl inside the colander (obvious, I know). Insert the stems into the foam.
It is also cute to add a note and ribbon to the handle.
