Memorial Day is just around the corner, the beginning of summer, the mark on the calendar that it is now OK to wear white shoes and white pants…..Who came up with that anyway? I am going to try and find time to finally plant some flowers in my flower pots, yes I know, I am running a little late.
With the weather cooperating we might all tweak the outdoor decor, have a pool party, BBQ, or a picnic. It is Memorial Day Weekend, and I plan to attend a ceremony at Leavenworth, KS Cemetery. I plan to take time to remember and honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom to tweak our outdoor decor, have a pool party, BBQ, or a picnic. If you have lost a loved one, may you be surrounded with love and support this coming weekend and beyond.
